THE MARBLE CITY TEAM
Jennifer Muckerman, Head Brewer
As a native of St. Louis, MO., Jennifer Muckerman has grown up with one of the largest breweries in the world in her backyard. As the Granddaughter of a Falstaff Brewer, she was born with a passion for brewing in her blood. At the age of 16, when craft breweries were starting to spring up across this country, Jennifer set her sights on working for the newest local brewery, Trailhead Brewing Company. She started out as a hostess and with many years of hard work and attention to detail, she finally saw that dream come true in 2004 when she was promoted to Head Brewer.
As Head Brewer, Jennifer has had the freedom to create and experiment on many different styles of beer. Some of her favorite recipes include the Spiced Pumpkin Ale, Pale Ale, and an English Brown Ale. She is very excited to bring her experience and knowledge to Marble City Brewing and Knoxville, knowing that she will have a style for everyone’s taste.
In the winter of 2009 Jennifer saw another dream come true when she was able to attend and graduate from The Siebel Institute of Brewing Technology in Chicago, Ill. It was here that Jennifer was able to gain access to a network of world class brewers and scientific consultants.
In her free time Jennifer is an avid motorcyclist who looks forward to discovering the many back roads that Tennessee has to offer. She is also passionate about rescuing dogs. Currently Jennifer has three dogs, with which she is looking forward to taking hiking and camping in Tennessee.
